PREPARATION CYCLE ON TILES

Environmental and substrate conditions:
before proceeding with the application cycle, check that the tiles are intact and flat, with joints measuring less than 3 mm in width and depth, perfectly clean and degreased. Otherwise, intervene with suitable products and recovery cycles and bring the support to the required conditions. To proceed with the application, the ambient temperature must be between +10°C and +30°C with air humidity lower than 85%. The temperature of the support must be between +10°C and +25°C and the humidity must be less than 3%. The conditions described above are essential for the correct implementation of the cycle: if the required requirements are not met, before proceeding with the application, it is recommended to contact technical assistance.

Preparation of the substrate:
wash the tiles perfectly and, if necessary, dewax with suitable products; subsequently go over the surface with denatured ethyl alcohol to eliminate any residual dirt. Proceed with a light sanding with the diamond abrasive trowel and remove dust perfectly. Apply a coat of CeboPrime with a roller, diluted 15-20% by volume with water, taking care to let it penetrate into the joints to regulate its absorption. Wait for CeboPrime to dry (minimum 4 hours) and position the 160-180g net. on the surface, approaching it without ever overcoming it. Apply a second coat of CeboPrime, undiluted, with a roller to fix the mesh to the surface and wait for it to dry (minimum 4 hours). Apply a coat of CeboRasa appropriately mixed with the CeboCem cement-based additive, using the steel Resine Flex trowel; proceed with the application by smoothing the entire surface and avoiding accumulations of material. Wait for CeboRasa to dry completely (minimum 8 hours) and smooth the surface with the diamond abrasive trowel, or with a 40 grit abrasive disc and remove dust. Apply a coat of CeboFix K with a roller or brush, diluted 1:4 with water, to regulate absorption and highlight any imperfections to be corrected before proceeding with the application of CeboSuite F: if the need arises it is possible to apply a further coat of CeboRasa with the same methods used for the first coat.

PREPARATION CYCLE ON SCREEDS

Environmental and substrate conditions:
before proceeding with the application cycle, check that the screed has reached complete curing and is intact, uniformly flat, free of dust, perfectly clean and degreased. Otherwise, intervene with suitable products and restoration cycles and bring it to the required conditions. On new screeds where underfloor heating systems are installed it will be necessary to carry out several on and off cycles to allow the screed to settle. To proceed with the application, the ambient temperature must be between +10°C and +30°C with air humidity lower than 85%. The temperature of the support must be between +10°C and +25°C, the humidity must be less than 3%. The conditions described above are essential for the correct implementation of the cycle: if the required requirements are not met, before proceeding with the application it is recommended to contact technical assistance.

Preparation of the substrate:
apply a coat of CeboPrime diluted 30-35% by volume with water by roller to consolidate the substrate and wait for it to dry (minimum 2 hours). Place the 160-180 g mesh on the surface, placing it next to it without ever overlapping it and apply a second coat of CeboPrime, undiluted, with a roller to fix the mesh to the surface and wait for it to dry (minimum 4 hours). Apply a coat of CeboRasa appropriately mixed with the CeboCem cement-based additive, using the steel Resine Flex trowel; proceed with the application by smoothing the entire surface and avoiding accumulations of material. Wait for CeboRasa to dry completely (minimum 8 hours) and smooth the surface with the diamond abrasive trowel or with a 40 grit abrasive disc and remove dust. As an alternative to CeboRasa it is possible to use CeboSuite G with CeboRock added, to have a longer processing time.

PREPARATION CYCLE ON WALLS

Preparation of the substrate: before proceeding with the application cycle, check the condition of the support, remove any detachments, swellings or exfoliations from previous paintwork. On new plasters proceed with a light sanding with 40 grit abrasive. Apply a first coat of CeboPrime diluted 35-40% with water with a roller. Once dry (minimum 2 hours), apply a second coat of CeboPrime diluted 15-20% with water with a roller and wait for it to dry (minimum 4 hours) before proceeding.

APPLICATION CYCLE OF FINISHES

Spatolato effect: apply the first and second coat of CeboSuite F mixed with CeboRock and colored in the same shade as CeboSynt, using the steel Resine Flex trowel; proceed with the application of the first coat with regular spatula strokes, compacting the product to obtain a smooth surface and wait for it to dry completely (minimum 8 hours): smooth the surface with the diamond abrasive trowel or with a 40 grit abrasive disc and remove dust perfectly. Proceed in the same way for the second coat of CeboSuite F.
After at least 8 hours, apply the first and second coat of the CeboSynt microcoating, colored and mixed with CeboRock, using the polycarbonate trowel: proceed with the application of the first coat with regular crossed strokes and wait for it to dry (minimum 4 hours): sand the surface with a 180 grit abrasive disc and remove dust perfectly. Apply the second coat in the same way and wait for it to dry completely (minimum 8 hours): sand with a 180 grit abrasive disc, taking care not to scratch the surface and remove dust perfectly. Proceed with the application of CeboSkil.

Striato effect: apply the first and second coat of CeboSuite F mixed with CeboRock and colored in the same shade as CeboSynt, using the Resine Flex trowel; proceed with the application of the first coat with straight or diagonal strokes depending on the desired effect, compacting the product to obtain a smooth surface and waiting for it to dry (minimum 8 hours): smooth the surface with the Abrasive Trowel or with a grain abrasive disc 40 and dust perfectly. Proceed in the same way for the second coat of CeboSuite F.
After at least 8 hours, apply the first and second coat of the CeboSynt microcoating, colored and mixed with CeboRock, using the polycarbonate trowel: proceed with the application of the first coat with straight or diagonal strokes depending on the chosen effect and wait for it to dry (minimum 4 hours): sand the surface with a 180 grit abrasive disc and remove dust perfectly. Apply the second coat in the same way and wait for it to dry completely (minimum 8 hours): sand with a 180 grit abrasive disc, taking care not to scratch the surface and remove dust perfectly. Proceed with the application of CeboSkil.

Marmo Effect: apply the first and second coat of CeboSuite F, mixed with CeboRock and colored in the same CeboSynt shade chosen as predominant for creating the marble effect, using the Resine Flex trowel; proceed with the application of the first coat with diagonal spatula strokes depending on the desired effect, compacting the product to obtain a smooth surface and wait for it to dry (minimum 8 hours): smooth the surface with the Abrasive Trowel or with a 40 grit abrasive disc and remove dust perfectly. Proceed in the same way for the second coat of CeboSuite F.
After at least 8 hours, apply the first and second coat of the CeboSynt microcoating, mixed with CeboRock and colored in the predominant color chosen, using the polycarbonate trowel: proceed with the application of the first coat with diagonal spatula strokes according to the chosen effect and wait for it to finish. Drying (minimum 4 hours): sand the surface with a 180 grit abrasive disc and remove dust perfectly. Apply the second coat using the main color and blending on the fresh product with the other color(s) chosen to create the grain, work and complete the design, proceeding one meter at a time. Wait for complete drying (minimum 8 hours). Sand with a 180 grit abrasive disc, taking care not to scratch the surface, remove dust perfectly. Proceed with the application of CeboSkil.

Application of CeboSkil: before proceeding with the application of CeboSkil, make sure there is no dust and equip yourself with suitable clothing and footwear; after profiling with a brush, apply the first coat of CeboSkil, mixed with CeboCat and diluted 20% by volume with water, with a suitably unloaded short-haired roller or, only on floors, with a polycarbonate trowel following the direction of the drawing. Wait for CeboSkil to dry (minimum 2 hours) and apply the second coat with a roller.

Please note:
CeboSkil is available in a matte, satin or gloss finish. If the glossy finish is used, an additional coat of product must be applied. If more than 24 hours pass between one coat and another of CeboSkil it is necessary to sand the surface with a 320 grit abrasive disc. Once CeboSkil has dried, in the presence of imperfections on the matt or satin finishes it is advisable to pass the surface with Scotch Brite end; for glossy finishes, it is possible to eliminate imperfections and preserve their shine.
