Surface treatment

The supports should be uniform, smooth, clean and dry. In the presence of recent smoothing, crumbling or absorbent substrates, clean the substrate perfectly and apply a 1:1 water diluted coat of the insulating fixative CeboFix M.

CeboSi Fondo: pigmented water-based acrylic primer with a slightly embossed appearance. CeboSi Fondo should be colored in the same shade as CeboSi Setoso and has to be applied with a short hair roller, in one or two coats until the base is completely covered. Once CeboSi Fondo has completely dried, proceed with the application of CeboSi Setoso.

Application cycle

Nuvolato Effect: apply the first coat of CeboSi Setoso, with a plastic trowel, spreading it evenly for about 2-3 m2; pass the treated surface again with the clean tool, removing the excess material. Once the first coat has dried (4-6 hours) apply the second coat in the same way and, with the product still wet, work the treated surface with the appropriate Oval Plastic Pad,
using circular movements to create the desired shaded effect.

Spatolato Effect: apply the first coat of CeboSi Setoso with a plastic trowel, spreading it evenly for about 2-3 m2; pass the treated surface again with the clean tool, removing the excess material. Once the first coat has dried (4-6 hours) apply the second coat, proceeding to cross strokes; then to create the desired “light-dark effect”, go over the treated surface
with the clean tool, taking care not to spatulate in the same direction.
