Surface treatment

Ensure that the substrates are perfectly clean, dry and uniform. In case of new or recently repaired walls, highly absorbent or chalky substrates, carefully clean the surface and apply a coat of priming fixative CeboFix M, by paintbrush. The use of the fixative is especially advised when CeboIdea is to be applied.

Application cycle for smooth effect - effetto liscio

Apply one or two coats of CeboSi Fondo, in the same colour of the finish, with a short pile roller to reach a perfect cover of the surface. Wait until it is completely dry. Apply CeboSi Riflessi in one coat with the appropriate CeboSi brush, available in 2½ and 4 inches size, in crossed brush-strokes avoiding clear-cut squaring; continue the application to reach the  already painted area with the empty brush, in order to avoid noticeable overlapping of colour. CeboSi Riflessi can also be applied with a woollen glove. Dip the glove into the product and apply in uniform, circular movements keeping the hand flat and light.

Application cycle for trowelled effect - effetto spatolato

Apply CeboIdea, in the same colour of the finish, with a stainless steel trowel in a uniform layer on the entire surface; decorate with the trowel to attain the desired pattern. When CeboIdea is completely dry, sandpaper the surface to eliminate possible imperfections. Apply CeboSi Riflessi by sponge in one coat with uniform and continuous movements, to avoid inaesthetic joint marks.

Application cycle for striped effect - effetto rigato

Apply CeboIdea, in the same colour of the finish, with a stainless steel trowel in a homogeneous thickness of about 1-2 mm. Decorate the surface before the product has dried with the appropriate CeboSign tool to obtain the desired horizontal or vertical stripes. When the product is still damp smooth slightly the stripes with the Caress spatula following the direction of the design chosen. It is advisable to carry out the application and following decoration procedure in areas of about 1 meter width at a time. When CeboIdea is completely dry, sandpaper the surface to eliminate possible imperfections, always in the direction of the design. Apply CeboSi Riflessi by sponge in one coat following the direction (horizontal or vertical) of the design created.
