Surface treatment

All gypsum, lime and civil bases are suitable. Check that the surfaces are perfectly clean, dry and uniform in appearance and absorption: then apply CeboFix R.

CeboFix R: breathable pigmented fixative, containing quartz flour. CeboFix R is applied in one or two coats, until the surface is completely covered, with a short-haired roller.

CeboBreak: intermediate acrylic primer, transparent with splitting action.

CeboWax: transparent water-based finish for interiors, based on natural beeswax and selected binders, which allows you to protect and make the surface water-repellent while maintaining its breathability. CeboWax is applied diluted in the ratio 1:1 with water: neutral as a protector on colored CeboArt Model or colored to obtain the glazing effect. Proceed with the application from bottom to top, with a synthetic sponge (A/4) in two coats on a completely dry CeboArt Model. It is possible to polish CeboWax by going over the surface with the clean steel trowel, exerting light pressure.

CeboSil: breathable and water-repellent acrylic-siloxane protective finish with a matt appearance and velvety to the touch. Dilute the product with water in a 1:1 ratio. CeboSil is applied in one or two coats with a brush or synthetic sponge, proceeding from bottom to top to avoid dripping.

CeboStyle Antico: water-based acrylic finish for interiors, washable, covering, with an elegant and bright appearance. It allows you to obtain surfaces with particular light contrasts, such as to enhance both classic and modern environments. CeboStyle Antico is applied on a completely dry CeboArt Model in two coats with the CeboSi brush (A/26-A/27), following the direction of the drawing and blending the freshly treated surface with a synthetic sponge (A/4); dilute the first coat up to 30% with water.

CeboArt Model application cycles

CRAQUELÉ effect
Apply CeboFix R with a roller colored in the chosen shade, which will determine the color of the cracks. Once CeboFix R has dried, apply CeboBreak with crossed brush strokes in one coat, until the surface is completely saturated which, once dry, must be translucent. After a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 24 hours, apply CeboArt Model with the stainless steel trowel (A/39-A/40) in a uniform thickness of approximately 2 mm: then achieve the desired aesthetic effect by working with the trowel at cross and irregular spatula strokes and wait for the cracks to form. Before complete drying, go over the surface again in order to lightly flatten the raised parts. Once dry, proceed with the application of CeboWax.

ONDA effect
Apply white or colored CeboArt Model vertically or horizontally in a uniform thickness, using the toothed side of the steel trowel “Shark 3” (A/69); then smooth the product using the smooth sides of the same trowel. While the product is still wet, work the surface with the PVC trowel “Onda 4” (A/56), following the chosen horizontal or vertical direction. Before complete drying, go over the surface again in order to lightly flatten the raised parts. If the product is too dry, moisten with water spray. Once dry, proceed with the application of CeboStyle Antico or CeboWax.

SBRECCIATO effect
Apply white or colored CeboArt Model diagonally and in a uniform thickness, using the toothed side of the “Shark 3” steel trowel (A/69); subsequently go over the surface using the smooth sides of the same trowel until obtaining a succession of smooth and diagonal streaks of different sizes. While the product is still wet, dab or scratch with the CeboSign tool (A/35) in an irregular manner, always respecting the direction of processing. Before complete drying, smooth the surface with the stainless steel trowel (A/39-A/40), lightly crushing the raised parts. If the product is too dry, moisten with water spray. Once dry, proceed with the application of
CeboStyle Antico or CeboWax.

TIVOLI effect
Apply white CeboArt Model using the toothed side of the Shark “3” (A/69) steel trowel, in an even thickness: then smooth the product using the smooth sides of the same trowel. While the product is still wet, work the surface with the special CeboSign tool (A/35) to recreate the characteristic grain of the stone. To obtain a more natural effect, proceed with the work in an irregular manner, avoiding repetition of the design. Score the surface with an awl to reproduce the slab effect. Before the product is completely dry, smooth the surface with the trowel, lightly crushing the raised parts. If the product is too dry, moisten with water
nebulized. Once dry, proceed with the application of CeboWax.

SPATOLATO effect
Apply white or colored CeboArt Model with a stainless steel trowel (A/39-A/40), in a uniform thickness: then achieve the desired aesthetic effect by working with the trowel with crossed and irregular strokes. Before complete drying, go over the surface again in order to lightly flatten the raised parts. If the product is too dry, moisten with water spray. Once dry, proceed with the application of CeboStyle Antico or CeboWax.

DRAFT effect
Apply white or colored CeboArt Model with a stainless steel trowel (A/39-A/40) in a non-uniform manner, varying the direction of application; while the product is still fresh, create irregular incisions on the surface using the special CeboSign tool (A/35). Before complete drying, smooth the surface with the trowel, lightly crushing the raised parts; if the product is too dry, moisten with nebulized water. Once dry, proceed with the application of CeboStyle Antico or CeboWax.

ZEFFIRO effect
Apply white or colored CeboArt Model in one coat horizontally or vertically, using the toothed side of the steel trowel “Shark 3” (A/69), in a uniform thickness, taking care to smooth it afterwards always with the trowel “ Shark 3” but with a smooth side. It is advisable to proceed with the drafting and subsequent processing in bands of approximately 1 metre. Score the surface in the chosen direction (horizontal or vertical) with the CeboSign tool (A/35); before complete drying, go over the surface again in order to lightly flatten the raised parts. If the product is too dry, moisten with water spray. Once dry, proceed with the application of CeboStyle Antico or CeboWax.

NIAGARA effect
Apply CeboArt Model using the predominant color among the chosen shades: proceed by spreading the product with a stainless steel trowel (A/39-A/40) in vertical bands approximately 1 meter wide. Subsequently, on the still fresh product, apply the other colors in small quantities, taking care to alternate and blend the various colors together; repeat the operation on the entire surface. Before complete drying, compact and smooth the surface perfectly: if the product is too dry, moisten with nebulized water. Once dry, proceed to the application of CeboSil to obtain a matt finish or CeboWax for a satin or glossy finish.

RASATO effect
Apply white or colored CeboArt Model with a stainless steel trowel (A/39-A/40) in a uniform thickness: proceed with the application with regular and uniform crossed strokes. Before complete drying, go over the surface with the empty trowel to eliminate any excess product and make the surface uniform. Once dry, proceed with the application of CeboStyle Antico or CeboWax.

LEVIGATO effect
Apply the first coat of white or colored CeboArt Model with a stainless steel trowel (A/39-A/40) with crossed and irregular strokes. Once dry, apply the second coat in the same way as the first coat and compact the product. Before complete drying, polish the surface with a clean trowel, applying adequate pressure. If the surface is too dry, moisten with water spray. Once dry, proceed with the application of CeboWax and polish with a stainless steel trowel.

DESIGN effect
Apply a coat of CeboArt Model to obtain the desired background effect. Once dry, plumb and fix the stencil to the wall with adhesive paper tape: apply CeboArt Model in a maximum thickness of 2 mm, taking care to cover the stencil evenly, starting from the sides towards the centre, taking care not to get dirty the back. Then place a second stencil next to it and proceed as above, repeating the operation as many times as necessary. It is recommended to remove the stencil while the product is still wet: any imperfections can be sanded when the surface is dry. If the product is too dry, moisten with water spray. Once dry, proceed with the application of CeboStyle Antico or CeboWax.

DESIGN Delabré effect
Apply a coat of white or colored CeboArt Model, smoothing and smoothing the surface with the stainless steel trowel (A/39-A/40). Once dry, fix the stencil to the wall with paper adhesive tape: apply CeboArt Model in a maximum thickness of 2 mm, taking care to cover the stencil evenly starting from the sides towards the center. Proceed on the wall by randomly positioning one or more stencils, leaving free parts which will subsequently be worked with CeboArt Model. Before complete drying, smooth the surface with the trowel, lightly crushing the raised parts. If the product is too dry, moisten with water spray. Once dry, proceed with the application of CeboStyle Antico or CeboWax.
